I’m not looking for the perfect moment. I’m looking for the real one.

I’m a photographer, but I think that, deep down, I’m just passionate joyful person.

​

From big moments, of course, but also everything that happens in between...

A tear quietly wiped away, hands reaching for each other, an unexpected burst of laughter, a funny face, a fleeting look, a tender gesture, or a child suddenly deciding to do exactly the opposite of what was planned.

​

Those are often my kind of  favourite photos!

​

I love images that tell a story. The kind that, years later, can bring back a feeling, a voice, a scent, a song or a memory, and take you straight back to a moment you thought you had forgotten.

​

Because time is a thief. Children grow, people change and generations pass. But a photograph remains. It becomes a witness to who we were, who we loved and how we lived. And perhaps one day, it will even allow our children or great-grandchildren to discover our faces, imagine our lives and put a face to the stories they were told.

My journey​

​

Photography has been part of my life since I was a child. What started as a passion gradually became my profession, and eventually, my full-time job.

I studied cinematography before specialising in photography, which probably explains my love of movement, atmosphere and the stories that can unfold within a single image.

​

Over the years, my approach has naturally evolved towards a more spontaneous, documentary style. I prefer to observe rather than direct, to let things unfold and to capture the moments that cannot be recreated.

Of course, I will create beautiful, carefully composed portraits too and I enjoy doing so, my heart is elsewhere though. In the unexpected, the movement and those few seconds when nobody is really thinking about the camera.

A little bit about me

​

Originally from the South of France, and more precisely Saint-Tropez, I crossed the Channel to follow the man of my life and eventually made England my home.

​

I now live in Kent with my husband and our little boy, born in 2019. Curiosity and a love of travelling are still very much part of my life, and I’m often on the road, across the UK and further afield in Europe.

Having grown up in France and built my life in the UK, I’m lucky to feel at home on both sides of the Channel. I’m equally comfortable speaking French or English, and I’m always happy to switch between.

Especially if it helps you feel more relaxed in front of my camera.

I find inspiration everywhere: in travelling, in the people I meet, in everyday life and in all those little details that might seem insignificant at the time, but become precious memories later.​​

​

Because perhaps I’m not passionate about photography by accident. I think I’m simply a lover of life with all its laughter, tears, imperfections, surprises and little bits of magic, for those who still take the time to believe in them.​

​
